AP Source: Consumer Advocate Tapped For New Post

A Democratic official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said President Obama will appoint Elizabeth Warren as a special adviser to oversee the creation of a new consumer protection bureau.

But it was unclear when the president intends to make the nomination.
