Biréli Lagrène is a French guitarist and bassist.

A "guitar phenomenon", according to John McLaughlin. He came to prominence in the 1980s via his manouche (django-like) style.

He is often considered to perform within the swing, jazz fusion and post bop mediums. He will be performing on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, 8pm at the Rose Theater of the Lincoln Center.
