France Honors Singer June Anderson and Professor Victor Brombert

On Monday, January 28, Kareen Rispal, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of France, conferred upon June Anderson the insignia of Commander in the Order of Arts and Letters, and upon Victor Brombert the insignia of Commander in the Order of Academic Palms.

Ms. Anderson shares a passion for French language and literature with her former college professor, Mr. Brombert, who is himself a lifelong enthusiast of the opera.
