Negroponte On U.S. Joining U.N. Rights Council

After years of avoidance, the United States joined the United Nations Human Rights Council on Friday. Guy Raz speaks with John Negroponte, a former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. and a key diplomat in the Bush administration.

Negroponte applauds the move, saying the U.S. can best change the controversial council from the inside.
