This third annual DjangoFest Mill Valley is a four-day festival celebrating the music and spirit of the great French/Belgian Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt.

Biréli Lagrène is a French guitarist and bassist.

A "guitar phenomenon", according to John McLaughlin. He came to prominence in the 1980s via his manouche (django-like) style.

He is often considered to perform within the swing, jazz fusion and post bop mediums. He will be performing on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, 8pm at the Rose Theater of the Lincoln Center.

Some describe Babylon Circus as the French version of Gogol Bordello, thanks to their sonic madness and stage antics.

Their music is infused with touches of Django Reinhardt, Balkan Gypsy music, and great French singers like Edith Piaf or Jacques Brell.

Bob Marley is also inescapably present. Their eclectic fusion picks up where French alternative rock band Mano Negra left off, both bands touring extensively in their quest for social justice.
