Saturday, November 1st from 8 am to 7pm at WESTFIELD HIGH SCHOOL! Bring your art to 16713 Ella Blvd which is three blocks south of 1960 on Ella.

Look for the CultureShapers sign. You then pick up your art the next day, Sunday from 3-7pm. Good luck to all!

Teachers and or administrators brining in art for your students:
1-Have your total entry count ready
2-Have t-shirt size count ready
3-Check entries for appropriate category and size limits
4-We need the ‘best phone number’ for student & teacher
who are doing Sunday pick up so we can call and save
you a trip IF you or your student is in the top 15.
5-Because we are taking in approx. 1,300 entries over 12
hours on Saturday (more than 100 an hour) and we have
no way of knowing how many will show up at any one time,

November 1st is the ONE DAY that you can submit one of your creative art pieces, or six pieces (one per category) and potentially pick up a check for $5,000 twenty days later! FIVE THOUSAND!

Highly and without a doubt most improbable, but, TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE…………..you could pick up six checks totaling $30,000! Now tell me, where are your chances better?

Certainly not with the Lottery!

November 1st is now just 31 days away. Remember, there is only ONE entry day, Saturday, November 1st at Westfield high school.

And then you pick up your art the next day, Sunday, afternoon, November 2nd- UNLESS you are in the top 15.

If so, you’ll be called so you don’t have to make the trip.

How are you doing on getting a piece ready for the CultureShapers entry period- November 1st?

With a $5,000 first prize check awaiting the winner (six $5,000 checks) in each of six categories, don’t you think it’s worth your effort to give it a shot?

Even if you’re a freshman, get some experience in your first year, LEARN! But, msot importantly- CREATE! Whatcha got to lose?

Have you started thinking about what you’ll enter come November 1st to potentially win $5,000.

But hey. don’t limit yourself to just one category. You can enter all SIX and maybe a 7th fort he Film Festival early next year.

If you don’t make it, you’ll cherish the experience. Who knows what’s IN you until you pull it out?

Current funds (can you help us with more sponsors?) only allow us to have six categories this year. We have run anywhere for 5-8 categories over the nine years so far.

IF we can get the funds by February ($15,000), our plans are to have a FILM FESTIVAL in March.

One one weekend we would show ALL FILMS in their entireity as judges preview with the public. An all day film festival with drinks and popcorn- all FREE!

And then the next day (Sunday) we would show the top ten and award the same amounts that the other six categories.
