The Cultural Services of the French Embassy are proud to present I Kiffe NY - French Urban Cultures Festival, from Oct. 7 to Oct. 28.

The festival will bring together dancers, musicians, singers, visual artists, poets, writers, filmmakers and academics, giving New Yorkers a unique opportunity to discover the vitality of French urban cultures.

Jérôme Lagarrigue was born in Paris in 1973.

He majored in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he received the Joseph Lefevre Award for excellence in painting.

In 1998, he became a professor of drawing and painting at Parsons School of Design, where he has taught for the last ten years.
