For Debt Committee, No Final Hour Deal Apparent

Today was to be the deadline for the Congressional Budget Office to release its analysis of the deficit-cutting proposal the supercommittee is to vote on no later than Wednesday.

But as of early this weekend, there was not even the outlines of an agreement.

CBO: Recent Spending Bill Falls Short On Cuts

Budget Office: GOP Medicare Plan Could Lead To Rationing

Revised Health Overhaul Would Cost $940 Billion

Over the same period, the plan would reduce the federal deficit by $130 billion.
